 The CAS takes its commitment to provide safe and effective chiropractic care to the public very seriously. In this regard, the CAS has appointed rather than elected a Registrar for the first time in its 64-year history. This was done to ensure that the Registrar, the board officer primarily charged with ensuring that the public interest receives first priority, is occupied by a person who possesses the unique skills required to fulfill the increasingly complex demands of the position now and in the future.
